About Our Founder

After almost 20 years in a privileged career at Xerox Canada Ltd., Karan Nikhanj is the President & Founder of LSS Analytics Inc., a management consulting firm that provides Lean Six Sigma (LSS) based professional services and advising to a host of different market sectors. These include post-secondary, oil & gas, healthcare, sales & marketing, retail, transportation, banking, telecom, not-for-profit and government.

Karan joined Xerox in September of 1998 in Vancouver. His primary responsibilities were business development roles for Xerox Global Services in Western Canada. Identified as a future leader, Karan was sponsored into the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program in January 2005 and has actively contributed to the evolution of Lean Six Sigma for Xerox Corporation globally.

While at Xerox, Karan built from the ground up, a service offering that deployed LSS methodology in the customer environment, 1:1 executive coaching on business management strategy, LSS training, and leading project teams in a multitude of diverse business environments through the use of the industry proven tools and techniques inherent in Lean Six Sigma.

Karan has built upon his degree in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan to think and act strategically to build critical and rewarding long-term relationships. He is known for his ability to simplify otherwise complex conditions in which his clients operate.

Karan continues to be an active member and advocate for the community. As a member of the Twin Brooks Community League, Karan has held positions of Social Director, President, Past President, Chairperson Capital Projects, and continues to be an active volunteer. Notably, he is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in honour of significant contributions and achievements in the community.

Karan enjoys time with his family, plays hockey, and adventures as an avid pilot, working to become a flight instructor. Karan enjoys physical fitness and the great outdoors and is very resourceful in any situation.
